Art Design & Technology

The Art, Design and Technology department is a creative department which comprises of Art, Textiles, Graphics, Children’s Care and Hospitality/Food.

The Department has a history of fantastic results and offers a variety of qualifications at Keystage 4 (eg BTEC and GSCE). We have won local and national awards which have been reported in the local press.

Through our curriculum we aim to enthuse pupils through practical lessons. All our lessons are rated as Good to Outstanding and pupils do enjoy learning in our department.

Lady Macbeth: Blood

Blood splattered across my hand
Marks that will not be gone
For all the perfumes in the land
Cannot change what I have done
 
Blood trickles down along my arm
I cannot rest at night
I murdered sleep, I murdered calm
I believed my decisions were right 

Blood soaking through my hair and skin
The past is drowning me
Why did I let this all begin?
This is not how it was meant to be.
